No bridge page, no app deep-link redirector, no chance of being blocked by Apple's anti-bridge policy. The QR you download today will still work in five years.
Crypto wallet QRs and Stripe Checkout QRs aren't here yet — they need server-side routing or hosted bridge pages and belong to our dynamic line. If you need Bitcoin, ETH, or a Stripe button, watch for Phase G.

Payment QR — frequently asked questions
Which payment apps work?
PayPal (paypal.me), Venmo (venmo.com), and Cash App (cash.app). All three encode to a universal HTTPS link the system camera opens directly into the matching app.Can I preset the amount?
Yes for PayPal and Venmo — the link supports an `amount` query parameter that pre-fills the Pay sheet. Cash App doesn't support amount-prefill on the universal link, so the payer types it.What about Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Apple Pay and Google Pay don't expose a universal QR contract — payments go through the merchant's POS terminal or a website. For Apple Pay-on-the-web, encode your Stripe/Adyen checkout URL with the URL content type.Does the QR include any fees?
We charge zero — the QR encodes a direct link to your provider. The provider's normal fees apply (PayPal 2.9% + 30¢ for goods/services; Venmo and Cash App free for personal sends; small fees for business profiles).Will it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes — universal HTTPS links open the matching app if installed. Without the app, the link opens the provider's web page with a "get the app" prompt.Why isn't crypto here?
Crypto QRs (BTC, ETH) need protocol-specific URI schemes that camera apps don't universally honour without an installed wallet. We'll add them via dynamic links (server-side routing) in a later phase.Can I track who pays from the QR?
Not from a static payment QR — the receipt info comes from your PayPal/Venmo/Cash App dashboard. For attribution by source ('paid via tip jar A vs B'), use different handles per location.
